You can delete your PicVaultPro account and everything stored in it at any time, directly in the app or on the web. You do not need to contact us first.
This cannot be undone
Deletion is immediate and permanent. There is no recovery window, and once your account is deleted we cannot restore your photos, videos, or vaults — they are removed from storage as part of the deletion. Export anything you want to keep before you start.
If you signed in a while ago, you may be asked to sign out and sign back in first. This is a deliberate check so that an unattended session cannot be used to delete your account.
Deleting your account removes your account record and everything that belongs to it:
Subscriptions depend on where you bought them:
If someone else shared a vault with you, that vault belongs to them and stays with their account — your access to it ends, but their media is not affected. We may also retain a limited record of a deletion request, and records we are legally required to keep, such as billing and tax records held by our payment processor.
Your account and media are deleted immediately when you confirm — this is not a queued or scheduled job. Routine infrastructure backups may retain residual copies for a short period before they age out on their normal cycle, and those backups are not used to restore deleted accounts.
If you cannot access your account to delete it — for example you have lost your sign-in method — email support@picvaultpro.com from the address on the account and we will help you complete the deletion. For privacy questions, contact privacy@picvaultpro.com.
See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data more generally.
